Deliciously sweet, sticky and spicy cocktail sausages. Perfect for entertaining!

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (420°F).
  2. Place the sausages in a large colander and rinse well.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, honey, soy sauce, and Sriracha.
  4. Place the sausages into a large roasting tin or baking tray.
  5. Pour the sauce over the sausages and use a spoon to coat the sausages in the sauce.
  6. Roast for 30-45 minutes, turning the sausages in the sauce every 15-20 minutes. The sauce will thicken slightly during the cooking time.
  7. The sausages are done when they have heated through completely and are lightly coloured from the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with finely chopped coriander (cilantro) before serving.

Kitchen Notes

The cocktail sausages I have used in this recipe are like mini Frankfurter sausages. In some countries, they are called lil’ smokies, cocktail weenies, or old-fashioned beef franks.

All recipes on this website state temperatures for a regular oven (i.e. a conventional oven without fan). If you have a convection oven with a fan, please consult the manufacturer’s handbook on how to adjust the temperature and baking time accordingly.
